Our Mission

The Denizko care day Universal pre-k New York is a community based organization which began in September of 2011, which promotes positive values through programs that spirit, mind and body. We welcome all people, with a focus on early childhood practices that promote healthy development skills in young children.

The Denizko care day and the Universal pre-k Early childhood programs began its first year of opening September 2012 with universal pre-k, one, two and a half hour program, for children 4 to 5 years, before entering kindergarten. Our Universal pre-kindergarten program is sponsored by the Department of education of the city of New York.

Program Philosphy

The Denizko and  Universal pre-k kindergarten Center is a program focused on the child which focuses on the uniqueness of each child with an alignment with the NY Stare Early Childhood curriculum and  common core of the State of New York for theUniversal pre-k kindergarten. We provide a  creative and developmental appropriate environment sensitive to the social, emotional, intellectual and physical growth of the child. Our programs success stories reinforces and encourages children to develop their skills and a love of learning.

The Denizko and Universal pre-k kindergarten programs  provides safe, clean, healthy and child friendly physical environments. The classrooms are arranged to offer challenging play and problem solving opportunities that will encourage and support unique levels of development of each child's learning. These learning centers allow children the opportunity to explore, experience and success according to its own level of development.

We strive to establish limits consistent and appropriate to help children function in the world. Our program is designed to encourage a sense of independence, responsibility and strengthen each cultural identity of the child, while instilling an appreciation of diversity.

Parents are the most significant adult in the life of a child. We emphasize the importance of school communication and participation of the whole family. Our doors are open to parents at all times.

Denizko care day Universal pre-k facilities are free of smoke and drug free environments, to ensure a safe and healthy development for children.
